I wish I had seen this article two years ago (when I quit and stopped drinking for good). I was "fired" by my first sponsor -- and you're right, it was traumatizing -- when she read some of my blogs and learned that I used cannabis. Now? I live by my own rules which include no drinking and cannabis when I need it. There is no doubt that the AA derided, so-called, "marijuana maintenance program" saved my life, and kept me from my darkness. Thanks for sharing your truth.
